Circle of Light Projection Mapping, Moscow

The Circle of Light festival in Moscow, was awarded the Guinness world record for The largest projection mapping show ever. It was an audio visual feast that transformed the 19,099 sq/m Ministry of Defence building in Moscow.

Utilising 142 digital projectors across six towers, it provided 5 levels of projection on the 370m facade – which is over six times as wide as Harrods in London.

The piece used CGI and live-action to bring to life the stories of famous Russian inventors of milestone technologies such as electricity, radio, cinema and TV. The festival was supported by the government of Moscow.

Role: Creative Design Direction, heading up a team of 3D Artists, Compositors, Musicians and Digital Artists. Final Technical guidelines for entire content delivery to the Projection AV Team on-site.
